وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡقُرُونَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

We destroyed the generations[17] before you when they indulged in wrongdoing, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they would not believe. This is how We recompense the wicked people. (Rowwad Translation)

Y, ciertamente, destruimos a lasgeneraciones que os precedieron cuando fueron injustas y no creyeron en los mensajeros que llegaron a ellas con pruebas claras (de su veracidad). Así es como castigamos a los pecadores que niegan la verdad. (Noor International)

Nous fîmes périr avant vous bien des générations, lorsqu’elles eurent commis des injustices en dépit des preuves évidentes que leur apportèrent leurs Messagers. Elles n’étaient pas prêtes à avoir la foi. C’est ainsi que Nous rétribuons la gent criminelle. (Noor International)

और निःसंदेह हमने तुमसे पहले बहुत-से समुदायों को विनष्ट कर दिया, जब उन्होंने अत्याचार किया। हालाँकि उनके रसूल उनके पास खुली निशानियाँ लेकर आए थे, परंतु वे ऐसे नहीं थे कि ईमान लाते। इसी प्रकार हम अपराधी लोगों को बदला दिया करते हैं। (Al-Umary)

在你们之前曾有许多世代，他们族中的使者既昭示了他们许多明证，而他们仍行不义，不肯信道，我就毁灭了他们，我这样报应犯罪的民众。 (Makin)
