قَالُواْ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ مَا نَفۡقَهُ كَثِيرٗا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفٗاۖ وَلَوۡلَا رَهۡطُكَ لَرَجَمۡنَٰكَۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡنَا بِعَزِيزٖ
They said, “O Shu‘ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and we surely see you weak among us. Were it not for your clan, we would have surely stoned you, for you have no standing among us.” (Rowwad Translation)
(Estos) respondieron: «¡Shu'aib!, no entendemos mucho de lo que dices y te vemos débil entre nosotros. Si no fuera por tu linaje, te lapidaríamos, pues tú no tienes poder contra nosotros». (Noor International)
Ils dirent : « Ô Chou ̒ayb ! Nous ne comprenons pas grand-chose à ce que tu dis. Nous te voyons plutôt faible parmi nous, et n’eût- été ton clan nous t’aurions certainement lapidé ; et tu n’es pas assez fort (pour nous résister). » (Noor International)
उन्होंने कहा : ऐ शुऐब! तुम्हारी बहुत-सी बातें हम नहीं समझते और हम तुम्हें अपने बीच निर्बल देख रहे हैं। और यदि तुम्हारा क़बीला (हमारे धर्म पर) न होता, तो हम तुम्हें पथराव करके मार डालते और तुम हमारी नज़र में प्रतिष्ठित भी नहीं हो। (Al-Umary)
他们说：“舒阿卜啊！你所说的话有很多是我们所不理解的，我们的确认为你是我们中的一个弱者，假若不为你的家族，我们誓必石击你，你对于我们并非是尊贵的。” (Makin)
