قَالُواْ يَٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّا ذَهَبۡنَا نَسۡتَبِقُ وَتَرَكۡنَا يُوسُفَ عِندَ مَتَٰعِنَا فَأَكَلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُؤۡمِنٖ لَّنَا وَلَوۡ كُنَّا صَٰدِقِينَ
They said, “O our father, we went off racing one another and left Joseph with our belongings, and a wolf ate him. But you will never believe us, no matter how truthful we may be.” (Rowwad Translation)
Dijeron: «¡Oh, padre!, nos pusimos a hacer carreras y dejamos a José con nuestras pertenencias, y un lobo se lo comió; y no vas a creernos a pesar de que decimos la verdad». (Noor International)

उन्होंने कहा : ऐ हमारे पिता! हम आपस में दौड़ का मुक़ाबला करने लगे और यूसुफ़ को अपने सामान के पास छोड़ दिया। इतने में उसे भेड़िया खा गया। और आप तो हमारा विश्वास करने वाले नहीं हैं, यद्यपि हम सच ही क्यों न बोल रहे हों। (Al-Umary)
他们说：“我们的父亲啊！我们赛跑时，使优素福留守行李，不料狼把他吃了。你是绝不会相信我们的，即使我们说的是实话。” (Makin)
