قَالَ رَبِّ ٱلسِّجۡنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدۡعُونَنِيٓ إِلَيۡهِۖ وَإِلَّا تَصۡرِفۡ عَنِّي كَيۡدَهُنَّ أَصۡبُ إِلَيۡهِنَّ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
Joseph said, “My Lord, I would rather be in prison than that to which they are calling me. Unless you protect me from their guile, I may succumb to them and fall into ignorance.” (Rowwad Translation)
(José) invocó a Al-lah diciendo: «¡Señor!, prefiero la cárcel a lo que me piden; y si no apartas de mí lo que traman, cederé y seré de los ignorantes». (Noor International)
Il dit : « Seigneur ! La prison est bien meilleure pour moi que de m’exécuter, soumis à leurs avances. Si Tu ne m’épargnes pas leur ruse, je céderai à mes penchants pour elles et je serai du nombre des ignorants. » (Noor International)
यूसुफ़ ने प्रार्थना की : ऐ मेरे पालनहार! मुझे क़ैद उससे अधिक प्रिय है, जिसकी ओर ये औरतें मुझे बुला रही हैं। और यदि तूने मुझसे इनके छल को दूर नहीं किया, तो मैं इनकी ओर झुक जाऊँगा और अज्ञानियों में से हो जाऊँगा। (Al-Umary)
他说：“我的主啊！我宁愿坐牢，也不愿响应她们的召唤。如果你不为我排除她们的诡计，我将依恋她们，我将变成愚人。” (Makin)
