قَالَ لَنۡ أُرۡسِلَهُۥ مَعَكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ تُؤۡتُونِ مَوۡثِقٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَتَأۡتُنَّنِي بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُحَاطَ بِكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَوۡهُ مَوۡثِقَهُمۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٞ
He said, “I will never send him with you unless you give me a pledge by Allah that you will surely bring him back to me, unless you are completely overpowered.” Then when they gave him their pledge, he said, “Allah is Witness to what we say.” (Rowwad Translation)
(El padre) dijo: «No lo enviaré con vosotros hasta que juréis solemnemente por Al-lah que regresaréis con él, a menos que puedan con todos vosotros». Y cuando hubieron jurado, les dijo: «Al-lah es testigo de cuanto hemos dicho». (Noor International)
« Je ne l’enverrai pas avec vous, répondit-il, tant que vous n’aurez pas pris l’engagement devant Allah de me le ramener, à moins que vous ne soyez dans l’impossibilité de le faire. » Une fois cet engagement pris, il leur dit : « Allah est Garant de ce que nous disons. » (Noor International)
उस (याक़ूब) ने कहा : मैं उसे तुम्हारे साथ हरगिज़ नहीं भेजूँगा, यहाँ तक कि तुम मुझसे अल्लाह के नाम पर प्रतिज्ञा करो कि उसे मेरे पास अवश्य लाओगे, सिवाय इसके कि तुम (सब) को घेर लिया[20] जाए। फिर जब उन्होंने उसे अपना दृढ़ वचन दिया, तो उस (याक़ूब) ने कहा : हम जो कुछ कह रहे हैं, उसपर अल्लाह निरीक्षक (गवाह) है। (Al-Umary)
他说：“我不派他和你们一同去，直到你们指安拉而和我立誓约，你们誓必带他回来见我，除非你们全遭祸患。”当他们和他立誓约的时候，他说：“安拉是监护我们的誓约的。” (Makin)
