۞ قَالُوٓاْ إِن يَسۡرِقۡ فَقَدۡ سَرَقَ أَخٞ لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُۚ فَأَسَرَّهَا يُوسُفُ فِي نَفۡسِهِۦ وَلَمۡ يُبۡدِهَا لَهُمۡۚ قَالَ أَنتُمۡ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗاۖ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَصِفُونَ
They said, “If he steals, then it was his brother [Joseph] who stole before.” Joseph kept it to himself and did not reveal it to them, and said [in his heart], “You are in a far worse position; and Allah knows best the truth of what you say.” (Rowwad Translation)
(Sus hermanos) dijeron (mintiendo): «Si ha robado, ya lo hizo un hermano suyo con anterioridad[398]». Y José se contuvo y no reveló lo que pensaba. Dijo para sí: «Vosotros estáis en una situación peor, y Al-lah sabe bien lo que decís». (Noor International)
Ils dirent : « S’il vient de commettre un vol, un autre frère à lui, autrefois, a volé.[247] Joseph contint sa réaction et ne leur montra rien. Il dit (dans le secret du cœur) : « Votre condition est encore bien pire. Allah en Sait mieux sur ce que vous êtes en train de raconter. » (Noor International)
उन्होंने कहा : यदि इसने चोरी की है, तो निःसंदेह इससे पहले इसके एक भाई ने भी चोरी की थी। तो यूसुफ़ ने इस बात को अपने दिल ही में रखा और उनके सामने प्रकट नहीं किया। (यूसुफ़ ने अपने मन में) कहा : तुम सबसे बुरे स्थान वाले हो और जो कुछ तुम वर्णन कर रहे हो, अल्लाह उसे सबसे अधिक जानता है। (Al-Umary)
他们说：“如果他偷窃，那么，他有一个哥哥从前就偷窃过。”优素福把这句话隐藏在心中，没有对他们表示出来，他暗暗地说：“你们的处境是更恶劣的。安拉是知道你们所叙述的事情的。” (Makin)
