ٱرۡجِعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِيكُمۡ فَقُولُواْ يَٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّ ٱبۡنَكَ سَرَقَ وَمَا شَهِدۡنَآ إِلَّا بِمَا عَلِمۡنَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِلۡغَيۡبِ حَٰفِظِينَ
Go back to your father and say, ‘O our father, your son has committed theft, and we did not tell you except what we saw, and we had no knowledge of the unseen[31]. (Rowwad Translation)
»Regresad a vuestro padre y decidle: “¡Oh, padre!, tu hijo (Benjamín) ha robado (y ha sido tomado como esclavo en compensación) y solo damos fe de lo que sabemos, y no podíamos saber lo que iba a pasar (cuando juramos que volveríamos con él). (Noor International)
Revenez auprès de votre père et dites-lui : "Père, ton fils a commis un vol. Nous ne témoignons ici que de ce que nous avons su, mais nous ne pouvons répondre de ce qui nous était inconnu. (Noor International)
तुम अपने पिता के पास लौट जाओ और कहो, ऐ हमारे पिता! आपके पुत्र ने चोरी की है और हमने वही कहा, जो हमने जाना[28] और हम ग़ैब जानने वाले नहीं थे।[29] (Al-Umary)
你们回去见父亲，然后对他说：我们的父亲啊！你的儿子确已偷窃，我们只作证我们所知道的。我们不是保证幽玄的。 (Makin)
