وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ نُّجِبۡ دَعۡوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَۗ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُونُوٓاْ أَقۡسَمۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٖ
Warn people of the Day when the punishment will come upon them, and the wrongdoers will say, “Our Lord, give us a little more time, so that we may respond to Your call and follow the messengers!” [They will be told], “Did you not swear before that you would never cease to exist?” (Rowwad Translation)
Y advierte a la gente (¡oh, Muhammad!) sobre el día en que el castigo se abatirá sobre ellos y los injustos que niegan la verdad dirán: «¡Señor!, déjanos regresar a la tierra para que podamos responder a Tu llamada y seguir a Tusmensajeros». (Se les dirá con reproche:) «¿Acaso no jurasteis con anterioridad que nunca dejaríais la vida terrenal y que no resucitaríais? (Noor International)
Avertis donc les hommes du jour où fondra sur eux le supplice. Ceux qui auront commis des injustices diront alors : « Accorde-nous un bref délai, nous répondrons à Ton appel et suivrons les Messagers. » (Il leur sera répondu) : « Ne juriez-vous pas autrefois que vous ne quitteriez jamais (ce monde pour celui de l’au-delà) ? » (Noor International)
और (ऐ नबी!) लोगों को उस दिन से डराएँ, जब उनपर यातना आ जाएगी, तो वे लोग जिन्होंने अत्याचार किया, कहेंगे : ऐ हमारे पालनहार! हमें कुछ समय तक मोहलत दे दे, हम तेरा आमंत्रण स्वीकार करेंगे और रसूलों का अनुसरण करेंगे।(कहा जाएगा :) क्या तुमने इससे पहले क़समें नहीं खाई थीं कि तुम्हारे लिए कोई भी स्थानांतरण नहीं? (Al-Umary)
你应当警告众人，将来要有这样的一日，刑罚将来临他们，而不义者将说：“我们的主啊！求你让我们延迟到一个临近的定期，以便我们响应你的号召，顺从你的使者。”难道你们以前没有发誓说，你们绝不会灭亡吗？ (Makin)
