وَلَا تَقۡتُلُواْ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِي حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظۡلُومٗا فَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا لِوَلِيِّهِۦ سُلۡطَٰنٗا فَلَا يُسۡرِف فِّي ٱلۡقَتۡلِۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مَنصُورٗا
Do not kill any soul that Allah has forbidden, except in the course of justice. If anyone is killed wrongfully, We have given his heir authority [of compensation], but he should not exceed the bounds in killing, for he is already supported [by law]. (Rowwad Translation)
Y no acabéis con la vida que Al-lah ha hecho sagrada a menos que sea por un motivo justo. Y otorgamos autoridad al heredero de quien sea asesinado injusta e intencionadamente (para pedir la muerte del asesino, o bien una indemnización en vez de su muerte, o para perdonarle la vida). Pero no transgredáis los límites si decidís la pena de muerte[488]. Ciertamente, el derecho del heredero a pedir justicia está garantizado. (Noor International)
N’ôtez la vie qu’Allah a rendue sacrée qu’en toute justice. Quant à celui qui serait tué injustement, Nous avons donné à son représentant le pouvoir (de réclamer justice). Que celui-ci ne se laisse pas aller à tuer exagérément, car il a le soutien de la loi. (Noor International)
और किसी (ऐसे) प्राणी को क़त्ल न करो, जिसे (क़त्ल करना) अल्लाह ने हराम किया है, परंतु अधिकार[20] के साथ। और जिसे अन्यायपूर्ण रूप से क़त्ल कर दिया जाए, तो हमने उसके उत्तराधिकारी को (बदला लेने का) अधिकार[21] दिया है। अतः वह क़त्ल (बदला लेने) में सीमा से आगे[22] न बढ़े। निश्चय वह मदद किया हुआ है। (Al-Umary)
你们不要违背安拉的禁令而杀人，除非因为正义。无辜而被杀者，我已把权柄授予他的亲戚，但他们不可滥杀，他们确是受援助的。 (Makin)
