وَأَمَّا ٱلۡجِدَارُ فَكَانَ لِغُلَٰمَيۡنِ يَتِيمَيۡنِ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ وَكَانَ تَحۡتَهُۥ كَنزٞ لَّهُمَا وَكَانَ أَبُوهُمَا صَٰلِحٗا فَأَرَادَ رَبُّكَ أَن يَبۡلُغَآ أَشُدَّهُمَا وَيَسۡتَخۡرِجَا كَنزَهُمَا رَحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ وَمَا فَعَلۡتُهُۥ عَنۡ أَمۡرِيۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَأۡوِيلُ مَا لَمۡ تَسۡطِع عَّلَيۡهِ صَبۡرٗا
As for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was a treasure under it that belonged to them. Their father was a righteous man, so your Lord willed that they should reach their maturity and retrieve their treasure[39], as a mercy from your Lord; I did not do it of my own accord. This is the interpretation of that which you could not bear with patience.” (Rowwad Translation)
»En cuanto al muro, era de unos niños huérfanos de la ciudad y escondía debajo un tesoro que les pertenecía. Su padre había sido un hombre recto y justo, y tu Señor quería que cuando se hiciesen mayores pudiesen extraer su tesoro por misericordia Suya. Y no hice nada por propia iniciativa. Esta es la explicación de aquello sobre lo que no tuviste paciencia». (Noor International)
Quant au mur, enfin, il appartenait à deux jeunes orphelins de la ville. Et il y avait sous le mur un trésor qui leur appartenait. Leur père était un homme très vertueux. Ton Seigneur a donc voulu que, une fois arrivés à l’âge adulte, (les deux garçons) déterrent leur trésor comme grâce de ton Seigneur. Je ne l’ai donc point fait de ma propre initiative. Telle est l’interprétation de ce que tu n’as pu avoir la patience de supporter. » (Noor International)
और रही दीवार, तो वह शहर के दो अनाथ लड़कों की थी और उसके नीचे उन दोनों के लिए एक खज़ाना था और उनके पिता नेक थे। तो तेरे पालनहार ने चाहा कि वे दोनों अपनी जवानी को पहुँच जाएँ और अपना खज़ाना निकाल लें, तेरे पालनहार की ओर से दया स्वरूप। और मैंने यह अपनी मर्जी से नहीं किया।[28] यह है उन बातों का असली सच जिनपर तुम धैर्य न रख सके। (Al-Umary)
至于那堵墙，则是城中两个孤儿的；墙下有他俩的财宝。他俩的父亲，原是善良的。你的主要在他俩成年后，取出他俩的财宝，这是属于你的主的恩惠，我没有随着我的私欲做这件事。这是你所不能忍受的事情的道理。” (Makin)
