وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَلۡ نَتَّبِعُ مَآ أَلۡفَيۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَهۡتَدُونَ
When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has sent down,” they say, “Instead, we follow what we found our forefathers doing.” [Would they do so] even though their forefathers had no understanding, nor were they guided? (Rowwad Translation)
Y si se les dice: «Seguid lo que Al-lah ha revelado», dicen: «¡No! Seguimos mejor lo que vimos que seguían nuestros padres». ¿(Lo harán) aun cuando sus padres no razonaban ni estaban guiados? (Noor International)
Et quand il leur est dit : « Suivez ce qu’Allah a fait descendre (en révélation) », ils disent : « Non, nous suivrons la tradition léguée par nos ancêtres. » Et si donc leurs ancêtres ne raisonnaient point et n’étaient pas sur la juste voie ? (Noor International)
और जब उनसे[90] कहा जाता है कि उसका अनुसरण करो जो अल्लाह ने (क़ुरआन) उतारा है, तो कहते हैं : बल्कि हम तो उसका अनुसरण करेंगे जिसपर हमने अपने बाप-दादा को पाया है। क्या अगरचे उनके बाप-दादा न कुछ समझते हों और न मार्गदर्शन पाते हों? (Al-Umary)
有人劝他们说：“你们应当遵守安拉所降示的经典。”他们就说：“不然，我们要遵守我们祖先的遗教。”即使他们的祖先无知无识，不循正道（他们仍要遵守他们的遗教吗？） (Makin)
