الآية السابقة
وَٱقۡتَرَبَ ٱلۡوَعۡدُ ٱلۡحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَٰخِصَةٌ أَبۡصَٰرُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا قَدۡ كُنَّا فِي غَفۡلَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا بَلۡ كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
when the True Promise[42] draws near, the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in horror, [saying], “Woe to us! We were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers.” (Rowwad Translation)
La promesa (del Día dela Resurrección) se aproxima. (Y cuando llegue) quienes rechazan la verdad tendrán la mirada fija de espanto. (Dirán:)«¡Ay de nosotros! Vivíamos indiferentes a este día. Realmente fuimos injustos». (Noor International)
La promesse vraie étant alors toute proche, les regards des mécréants se figeront : « Malheur à nous, diront-ils, qui étions si distraits, voire si injustes ! » (Noor International)
और सच्चा वादा[42] क़रीब आ जाएगा, तो अचानक यह होगा कि उन लोगों की आँखें खुली रह जाएँगी, जिन्होंने कुफ़्र किया। (वे कहेंगे :) हाय हमारा विनाश! निःसंदेह हम इससे ग़फ़लत में थे, बल्कि हम अत्याचारी थे। (Al-Umary)
真实的应许将近了，不信道者突然瞪着眼睛（说）：“悲哉我们！我们对于今天曾是疏忽的。不然，我们是不义的。” (Makin)
