۞ ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشۡكَوٰةٖ فِيهَا مِصۡبَاحٌۖ ٱلۡمِصۡبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوۡكَبٞ دُرِّيّٞ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٖ مُّبَٰرَكَةٖ زَيۡتُونَةٖ لَّا شَرۡقِيَّةٖ وَلَا غَرۡبِيَّةٖ يَكَادُ زَيۡتُهَا يُضِيٓءُ وَلَوۡ لَمۡ تَمۡسَسۡهُ نَارٞۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٖۚ يَهۡدِي ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَيَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَ لِلنَّاسِۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ
Allah is the Light[26] of the heavens and earth. The likeness of His light[27] is that of a niche in which is a lamp; the lamp is in a glass; the glass is like a shining star – it is lit by [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, which is neither of the east nor of the west[28]. Its oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light; Allah guides to His light whom He wills. Allah sets forth comparisons for people, and Allah is All-Knowing of everything. (Rowwad Translation)
Al-lah es la luz (que guía todo cuanto existe) en los cielos y en la tierra[681]. Su luz es como una hornacina donde hay colocada, dentro de un claro cristal, una lámpara que resplandece como una brillante estrella[682]. El combustible de dicha lámpara se extrae del fruto de un árbol bendito:un olivo que crece en un lugar de la tierra entre Oriente y Occidente (que recibe la luz del sol desde el amanecer hasta su puesta). Tal aceite prende casi sin tocarle el fuego (debido a su pureza, y cuando prende) es luz sobre luz. Al-lah guía a quien quiere hacia Su luz y expone ejemplos a los hombres; y Al-lah tiene conocimiento sobre todas las cosas. (Noor International)
Allah est la lumière des cieux et de la terre. Sa lumière est semblable à une niche où il y a une lampe. La lampe est dans un cristal et le cristal est comme un astre brillant qu’allume un arbre béni : un olivier (exposé) ni (complètement) vers l’orient ni (complètement) vers l’occident, et dont l’huile éclaire presque sans contact avec le feu. Lumière sur lumière. Allah guide vers Sa lumière qui Il veut. Allah donne des exemples aux hommes. Allah est de Toute chose Savant. (Noor International)
अल्लाह आकाशों तथा धरती का[31] प्रकाश है। उसके प्रकाश की मिसाल एक ताक़ की तरह है, जिसमें एक दीप है। वह दीप (काँच के) एक फानूस में है। वह फानूस गोया चमकता हुआ तारा है। वह (दीप) एक बरकत वाले वृक्ष 'ज़ैतून' (के तेल) से जलाया जाता है, जो न पूर्वी है और न पश्चिमी। उसका तेल निकट है कि (स्वयं) प्रकाश देने लगे, यद्यपि उसे आग ने न छुआ हो। प्रकाश पर प्रकाश है। अल्लाह अपने प्रकाश की ओर जिसका चाहता है, मार्गदर्शन करता है। और अल्लाह लोगों के लिए मिसालें प्रस्तुत करता है। और अल्लाह प्रत्येक चीज़ को भली-भाँति जानने वाला है। (Al-Umary)
安拉是天地的光明，他的光明像一座灯台，那座灯台上有一盏明灯，那盏明灯在一个玻璃罩里，那个玻璃罩仿佛一果灿烂的明星，用吉祥的橄榄油燃着那盏明灯；它不是东方的，也不是西方的，它的油，即使没有点火也几乎发光——光上加光——安拉引导他所意欲者走向他的光明。安拉为众人设了许多比喻，安拉是全知万事的。 (Makin)
