قَالَ ٱلَّذِي عِندَهُۥ عِلۡمٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبۡلَ أَن يَرۡتَدَّ إِلَيۡكَ طَرۡفُكَۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهُ مُسۡتَقِرًّا عِندَهُۥ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِن فَضۡلِ رَبِّي لِيَبۡلُوَنِيٓ ءَأَشۡكُرُ أَمۡ أَكۡفُرُۖ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشۡكُرُ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّي غَنِيّٞ كَرِيمٞ
But the one who had some knowledge of the scripture[10] said, “I will bring it to you in the blink of your eye.” When he saw it placed before him, he said, “This is a favor of my Lord, to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. Whoever is grateful, it is only for his own good; and whoever is ungrateful, then my Lord is Self-Sufficient, Most Generous.” (Rowwad Translation)
Un hombre que tenía conocimiento de las Escrituras dijo[731]: «Yo os lo traeré (aún más rápido) antes de un abrir y cerrar de ojos». Y cuando Salomón vio (el trono) ante sus ojos, dijo: «Esto es un favor de mi Señor para ponerme a prueba y ver si soy agradecido o no. Quien agradezca las gracias que Al-lah le ha otorgado lo hará en su beneficio, y quien sea ingrato (que sepa) que Al-lah no necesita nada de nadie y es Generoso (en la concesión de Sus favores)». Celui qui était initié à la science du Livre dit alors : « Moi, je te l’apporterai avant même que tu n’aies cligné de l’œil. » Lorsque Salomon eut vu (le trône) installé près de lui, il dit : « C’est là une des faveurs de mon Seigneur Qui m’éprouve (pour voir) si je suis reconnaissant ou ingrat. Car, quiconque est reconnaissant le sera pour lui-même, et quiconque est ingrat (doit savoir qu’) Allah Se passe de (sa reconnaissance) et qu’Il est Généreux. » (Noor International)
जिसके पास पुस्तक का ज्ञान था, उसने कहा : मैं उसे आपके पास इससे पहले ले आता हूँ कि आपकी पलक झपके। और जब उसने उसे अपने पास रखा हुआ देखा, तो कहा : यह मेरे पालनहार का अनुग्रह है, ताकि मेरी परीक्षा ले कि मैं शुक्र अदा करता हूँ या नाशुक्री करता हूँ। और जिसने शुक्र किया, तो वह अपने ही लिए शुक्र करता है तथा जिसने नाशुक्री की, तो निश्चय मेरा पालनहार बहुत बेनियाज़, अत्यंत उदार है। (Al-Umary)
那深知天经的人说：“转瞬间，我就把它拿来给你。”当他看见那个宝座安置在他面前的时候，他说：“这是我的主的恩惠之一，他欲以此试验我，看我是感谢者，还是孤负者。感谢者，只为自己的利益而感谢；孤负者，（须知）我的主确是无求的，确是尊荣的。” (Makin)
