وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةِۭ بَطِرَتۡ مَعِيشَتَهَاۖ فَتِلۡكَ مَسَٰكِنُهُمۡ لَمۡ تُسۡكَن مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗاۖ وَكُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ
How many a town We have destroyed that were arrogant due to their affluence! Those are their dwellings which were never inhabited after them except briefly[29]. It is We Who were the Inheritors. (Rowwad Translation)
¡Y cuántas poblaciones destruimos por haber sido ingratas a pesar de vivir en abundancia! Sus viviendas no fueron habitadas después de ellos, salvo unas pocas, y Nos fuimos Quienes las heredamos. (Noor International)
Combien de cités ingrates avons-Nous fait périr, qui vivaient dans l’opulence ? Voilà leurs demeures qui, après eux, n’ont guère été habitées. C’est Nous Seul Qui en avons hérité. (Noor International)
और हमने कितनी ही बस्तियों को विनष्ट कर दिया, जो अपनी गुज़र-बसर के संसाधनों पर इतराने लगी थीं। तो ये हैं उनके घर, जो उनके बाद आबाद नहीं किए गए, परंतु बहुत कम। और हम ही हमेशा उत्तराधिकारी बनने वाले हैं। (Al-Umary)
我曾毁灭许多城市，那些城市里的居民，过一种骄奢的生活。这些是他们的居住地，从他们灭亡后，除很少的时间外，无人居住；我是他们的继承者。 (Makin)
