أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ مِنۢ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مُوسَىٰٓ إِذۡ قَالُواْ لِنَبِيّٖ لَّهُمُ ٱبۡعَثۡ لَنَا مَلِكٗا نُّقَٰتِلۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ هَلۡ عَسَيۡتُمۡ إِن كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡقِتَالُ أَلَّا تُقَٰتِلُواْۖ قَالُواْ وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نُقَٰتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ أُخۡرِجۡنَا مِن دِيَٰرِنَا وَأَبۡنَآئِنَاۖ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوۡاْ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّنۡهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Did you not see the chiefs of the Children of Israel after Moses when they said to their prophet: “Appoint for us a king so that we fight in the way of Allah.” He said: “How likely is it that if fighting was enjoined upon you that you will not fight?” They said: “How could we not fight in the way of Allah, while we have been driven out of our homes and separated from our children[137]?” However, when fighting was enjoined upon them, they turned away, except a few of them. And Allah is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers. (Rowwad Translation)
¿No conoces la historia de los dignatarios de los hijos de Israel después de Moisés, cuando pidieron a su profeta (Samuel) que les enviara un rey para combatir con él por la causa de Al-lah? (El Profeta) dijo: «¿Realmente lucharíais si se os prescribiera el combate?». Respondieron: «¿Y cómo no habríamos de combatir por la causa de Al-lah cuando hemos sido expulsados de nuestras casas y apartados de nuestros hijos?». Pero cuando se les prescribió el combate, le dieron la espalda desentendiéndose, excepto unos pocos. Y Al-lah conoce bien a los injustos (que no cumplen sus compromisos). (Noor International)
N’as-tu pas appris (ce qui s’est passé avec) les notables des Enfants d’Israël lorsque, après Moïse, ils dirent à un Prophète des leurs : « Désigne-nous un roi et nous combattrons dans le chemin d’Allah. »[89] Il dit : « Mais, si le combat vous était prescrit, qui sait si vous ne refuserez pas de combattre ? » Ils dirent alors : « Mais pourquoi nous ne combattrions pas dans le chemin d’Allah quand nous avons été chassés de nos maisons et privés de nos enfants ? » Puis quand le combat leur fut prescrit, ils se rétractèrent, hors un petit nombre parmi eux. Allah Connaît parfaitement les injustes. (Noor International)
(ऐ नबी!) क्या आपने मूसा के बाद बनी इसराईल के प्रमुखों को नहीं देखा, जब उन्होंने अपने एक नबी से कहा : हमारे लिए एक बादशाह निर्धारित कर दो कि हम अल्लाह के मार्ग में युद्ध करें। उस (नबी) ने कहा : ऐसा न हो कि यदि तुमपर युद्ध करना अनिवार्य कर दिया जाए, तो तुम युद्ध न करो? उन्होंने कहा : और हमें क्या है कि हम अल्लाह के मार्ग में युद्ध न करें, हालाँकि हमें हमारे घरों और हमारे बेटों से निकाल दिया गया है? फिर जब उनपर युद्ध करना अनिवार्य कर दिया गया, तो उनमें से बहुत थोड़े लोगों के सिवा सब फिर गए। और अल्लाह उन अत्याचारियों को भली-भाँति जानने वाला है। (Al-Umary)
你不知道穆萨死后以色列人中的领袖吗？当时，他们对一个同族的先知说：“请你替我们立一个国王，我们就为主道而战斗。”他说：“如果战斗成为你们的定制，你们会不战斗吗？”他们说：“我们已被敌人逐出故乡，父子离散，我们怎能不为主道而战斗呢？”战斗已成为他们的定制的时候，他们除少数人外，都违背命令了。安拉是全知不义的人的。 (Makin)
