الآية السابقة
وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُشۡرِكَ بِي مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٞ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَاۖ وَصَاحِبۡهُمَا فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا مَعۡرُوفٗاۖ وَٱتَّبِعۡ سَبِيلَ مَنۡ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّۚ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
But if they strive to make you associate partners with Me of what you have no knowledge[5], then do not obey them. Yet keep company with them in this world with kindness, and follow the way of those who turn to Me [in repentance]. Then to Me is your return, and I will inform you of what you used to do. »Pero si se empeñan en que adores además de a Mí a otras divinidades sobre las que no tienes ninguna prueba, no los obedezcas; mas trátalos con respeto y benevolencia en esta vida y sigue el camino de quienes se vuelven a Mí en arrepentimiento. Después retornaréis a Mí (para ser juzgados) y os informaré sobre lo que hicisteis (en la vida mundanal)». (Noor International)
Mais s’ils essaient de te contraindre à M’associer ce dont tu n’as nulle science, ne leur obéis point. Sois-leur cependant un compagnon de toute bonté en ce bas monde, et suis le chemin de celui qui revient repentant vers Moi. Car c’est vers Moi que sera votre retour, et Je vous informerai alors de ce que vous faisiez. (Noor International)
और यदि वे दोनों तुझपर दबाव डालें कि तू मेरे साथ उस चीज़ को साझी ठहराए, जिसका तुझे कोई ज्ञान नहीं, तो उन दोनों की बात मत मान[3] और दुनिया में उनके साथ सुचारु रूप से रह[4], तथा उसके मार्ग पर चल, जो मेरी ओर पलटता है। फिर मेरी ही ओर तुम्हें लौटकर आना है। तो मैं तुम्हें बताऊँगा, जो कुछ तुम किया करते थे। (Al-Umary)
如果他俩勒令你以你所不知道的东西配我，那么，你不要服从他俩，在今世，你应当依礼义而奉事他俩，你应当遵守归依我者的道路；惟我是你们的归宿，我要把你们的行为告诉你们。” (Makin)
