وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَلۡ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ يَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has sent down,” they say, “No, we follow what we found our forefathers doing.” Is that so, even if Satan is calling them to the punishment of the Blazing Fire? (Rowwad Translation)
Y si se les dice que sigan lo que Al-lah les ha revelado, responden: «Mejor seguimos lo que nuestros antepasados adoraban». ¿Cómo? ¿(Van a seguir lo que hacían) aun cuando el Demonio quiere arrastrarlos (de esta manera) al castigo del fuego? (Noor International)
Quand il leur est dit : « Suivez donc ce qu’Allah a fait descendre (en révélation) ! » ils répliquent : « Nous suivrons plutôt ce que nous avons trouvé chez nos ancêtres. » Et cela même si Satan les appelait au supplice de la Fournaise ? (Noor International)
और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि अल्लाह ने जो (क़ुरआन) उतारा है, उसका अनुसरण करो, तो कहते हैं कि हम तो उसी रास्ते पर चलेंगे, जिसपर अपने पूर्वजों को पाया है। क्या अगरचे शैतान उन्हें धधकती आग की यातना की ओर बुला रहा हो तो भी?[10] (Al-Umary)
如果有人对他们说：“你们应当遵守安拉所降示的（经典）。”他们就说：“不然，我们遵守我们祖先的遗教。”即使恶魔叫他们去受烈火的刑罚，（他们仍要遵守）吗？ (Makin)
