۞ تُرۡجِي مَن تَشَآءُ مِنۡهُنَّ وَتُـٔۡوِيٓ إِلَيۡكَ مَن تَشَآءُۖ وَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَيۡتَ مِمَّنۡ عَزَلۡتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكَۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدۡنَىٰٓ أَن تَقَرَّ أَعۡيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحۡزَنَّ وَيَرۡضَيۡنَ بِمَآ ءَاتَيۡتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمٗا
You [O Prophet] may postpone [the turn of] whoever you wish [of your wives], and you may share your time with whoever of them you wish[44], and there is no blame on you if you call back any of those whose turn you have set aside. That is more likely that they will be content and not distressed, and that they will be satisfied with what you give them all. Allah knows what is in your hearts, and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing. (Rowwad Translation)
Puedes posponer (el turno de) la esposa que quieras y recibir a la (esposa) que quieras. Y no cometes ninguna falta si deseas (recibir) a cualquiera de las que habías dejado de lado (posponiendo su turno)[811]. (El hecho de que ellas sepan que esto es una decisión de Al-lah) es mejor para que se sientan confortadas, no se entristezcan y estén satisfechas con lo que les ofreces a cada una de ellas. Tu pourras faire attendre qui tu voudras parmi elles, et tu en retiendras à tes côtés qui tu voudras. Tu pourras, sans encourir aucun grief, en reprendre une parmi celles dont tu t’étais auparavant séparé. Cela est plus à même de les réjouir, de leur faire oublier leur chagrin et de les satisfaire de ce que tu leur as accordé à toutes. Allah Sait ce que recèlent vos cœurs. आप अपनी पत्नियों में से जिसे चाहें (उसकी बारी) स्थगित कर दें, और जिसे चाहें अपने साथ रखें, और जिन्हें आपने अलग रखा है, उनमें से जिसकी भी आप (अपने पास रखने की) इच्छा करें, तो इसमें आपपर कोई दोष नहीं है। यह इस बात के अधिक निकट है कि उनकी आँखें ठंडी रहें और वे शोकाकुल न हों, तथा जो कुछ आप उन्हें दें, उससे वे सब संतुष्ट रहें। और जो कुछ तुम्हारे दिलों[38] में है, अल्लाह उससे अवगत है। और अल्लाह सब कुछ जानने वाला, बहुत सहनशील[39] है। (Al-Umary)
你可以任意地离绝她们中的任何人，也可以任意地挽留她们中的任何人。你所暂离的妻子，你想召回她，对于你是毫无罪过的。那是最近于使她们感到安慰而无悲哀的，并且都满意你所给予她们的。安拉知道你们的心事，安拉是全知的，是至睿的。 (Makin)
