قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرۡنَا بِكُمۡۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهُواْ لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
The people said, “We consider you as an evil omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and we will inflict upon you a painful punishment.” (Rowwad Translation)
(Los habitantes del lugar) les respondieron: «Vemos en vosotros un mal augurio, y si no desistís (de exhortarnos), os lapidaremos y recibiréis de nuestra parte un doloroso castigo». (Noor International)
« Vous nous êtes des oiseaux de mauvais augure, reprirent (les mécréants). Ou vous arrêtez ou nous vous lapiderons, et vous atteindra, de notre part, un supplice très douloureux. » (Noor International)
उन लोगों ने कहा : हम तुम्हें अशुभ (मनहूस) समझते हैं। यदि तुम बाज़ नहीं आए, तो हम तुम्हें निश्चित रूप से पथराव करके मार डालेंगे और तुम्हें अवश्य ही हमारी ओर से दुःखदायी यातना पहुँचेगी। (Al-Umary)
他们说：“我们确已为你们而遭厄运，如果你们不停止宣传，我们誓必用石击你们，或以痛苦的刑罚加于你们。” (Makin)
