قَالَ لَقَدۡ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعۡجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبۡغِي بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٞ مَّا هُمۡۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّۤ رَاكِعٗاۤ وَأَنَابَ۩
David said, “He has certainly wronged you by demanding that your ewe be added to his flock. Indeed, many partners oppress one another, except those who believe and do righteous deeds – and how few they are.” Then David realized that We were only testing him, so he asked his Lord for forgiveness[13], fell down bowing, and turned to Him in repentance. David replicó: «Ciertamente, ha sido injusto contigo pidiéndote tu oveja para sumarla a las suyas. Y son muchos los socios que se aprovechan unos de otros, salvo quienes son creyentes y obran con rectitud, aunque estos son bien pocos». Entonces David creyó que Al-lah lo había puesto a prueba. Pidió perdón a su Señor y cayó postrado ante Él arrepentido(por haberse apresurado a emitir un juicio antes de escuchar lo que el otro litigante tenía que decir)[860]. (Noor International)
« Il t’a lésé, dit (David), en t’imposant de joindre ta brebis aux siennes. » Beaucoup d’associés agissent frauduleusement les uns envers les autres, hormis ceux qui ont cru et ont accompli les bonnes œuvres. Or ils sont peu ! David comprit que Nous le mettions à l’épreuve. Il implora donc le pardon de son Seigneur et se jeta à terre, prosterné et repentant.[444] (Noor International)
उसने कहा : निःसंदेह उसने तेरी दुंबी को अपनी दुंबियों के साथ मिलाने की माँग करके तुझपर अत्याचार किया है। तथा निःसंदेह बहुत-से साझी निश्चय एक-दूसरे पर अत्याचार करते हैं। सिवाय उन लोगों के, जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए और ये लोग बहुत ही कम हैं। और दाऊद ने यक़ीन कर लिया कि हमने उसकी परीक्षा ली है। अतः उसने अपने पालनहार से क्षमा याचना की, तथा सजदे में गिर गया, और (अल्लाह की ओर) वापस लौटा। (Al-Umary)
达五德说：“他确已欺负你了，因为他要求你把你的母绵羊归并他的母绵羊。有许多伙计，的确相欺，惟信道而行善者则不然，但他们是很少的。”达五德以为我考验他，他就向他的主求饶，且拜倒下去，并归依他。 (Makin)
