۞ أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَءَاثَارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٖ
Have they not traveled in the land to see what was the end of those who came before them? They were far superior in strength and left more impressive marks in the land, but Allah seized them for their sins, and they had none to protect them from Allah. (Rowwad Translation)
¿Acaso no recorren la tierra y observan cuál fue el final de quienes los precedieron (y reflexionan sobre ello)? Eran mucho más fuertes que ellos y dejaron más vestigios sobre la tierra (de su poder); pero Al-lah los castigó por sus pecados, y no tuvieron quién los protegiera fuera de Él. (Noor International)
N’ont-ils pas parcouru la terre pour voir quel fut le sort de ceux qui les ont précédés ? (Ils) étaient bien plus forts qu’eux, et ont laissé sur terre des vestiges bien plus importants. Mais Allah les emporta pour leurs péchés, et ils n’eurent, contre Allah, aucun protecteur. (Noor International)
क्या वे धरती में चले-फिरे नहीं, ताकि देखते कि उन लोगों का परिणाम कैसा रहा, जो इनसे पहले थे? वे इनसे अधिक शक्तिशाली थे तथा धरती में इनसे अधिक चिह्न भी छोड़ गए। तो अल्लाह ने उन्हें उनके पापों के कारण पकड़ लिया और उन्हें अल्लाह से बचाने वाला कोई न था। (Al-Umary)
难道他们没有在大地上旅行以观察前人的结局是怎样的吗？前人比他们势力更大、成绩更多；但安拉因他们的罪过而惩治他们，他们对安拉没有任何保护者。 (Makin)
