فَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرِحُواْ بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they exulted in whatever knowledge they had[20], and they were overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule. (Rowwad Translation)
Cuando los mensajeros llegaron a ellos con claraspruebas (de la verdad), se mostraron orgullosos del conocimiento que tenían (—sus falsas creencias— y los desmintieron) y se abatió sobre ellos el castigo del que se burlaban. (Noor International)
Quand leurs Messagers venaient vers eux, munis des preuves évidentes, ils se réjouissaient de ce qu’ils avaient comme connaissances. Mais tout ce dont ils se raillaient les cerna alors. (Noor International)
फिर जब उनके रसूल उनके पास स्पष्ट प्रमाण लेकर आए, तो वे उस ज्ञान[25] पर इतराने लगे, जो उनके पास था, और उन्हें उस (यातना) ने घेर लिया, जिसका वे उपहास कर रहे थे। (Al-Umary)
当他们各族中的众使者昭示他们许多迹象的时候，他们因自己所有的学问而洋洋得意，他们所嘲笑的刑罚，遂降临他们。 (Makin)
