فَأَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشٗا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
So We destroyed them, although they were greater in might than these [Pagans][4], and the stories of the earlier nations have already been related[5]. (Rowwad Translation)
Y destruimos a gentes más fuertes (que los idólatras de tu pueblo, ¡oh, Muhammad!), e hicimos de aquellos (a quienes destruimos) un precedente y una lección para quienes los sucedieran. (Noor International)
Nous avons (pourtant) fait périr de bien plus féroces que ceux-ci, et que d’exemples sur les premiers (peuples) n’avons-Nous pas cités ! (Noor International)
तो हमने इनसे[2] कहीं अधिक बलशाली लोगों को विनष्ट कर दिया तथा अगले लोगों का उदाहरण गुज़र चुका। (Al-Umary)
