فَٱصۡبِرۡ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡعَزۡمِ مِنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِل لَّهُمۡۚ كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا سَاعَةٗ مِّن نَّهَارِۭۚ بَلَٰغٞۚ فَهَلۡ يُهۡلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
So be patient, as the Messengers of Firm Resolve[15] were patient, and do not seek to hasten [punishment] for them. On the Day when they see what they were warned of, it will be as if they had only stayed [in this world] for an hour of a day[16]. This is a warning. Will anyone be destroyed except the rebellious people? (Rowwad Translation)
Sé paciente (¡oh, Muhammad!, con las ofensas de tu pueblo) como lo fueron los profetas de mayor determinación[936] y no tengas prisa (en que sean castigados). El día en que vean (el castigo) prometido será como si solo hubiesen vivido (en la tierra) una sola hora. (Este es un claro) mensaje (de Al-lah para vosotros). Y no serán destruidos sino los rebeldes (que se nieguen a obedecer a su Señor). (Noor International)
Sois patient (à la peine) comme ont été patients les plus déterminés d’entre les Messagers et ne t’empresse pas trop de (voir s’abattre) sur eux (le châtiment). Le jour où ils verront ce qui leur est promis, ce sera comme s’ils n’étaient demeurés (sur terre) que le temps d’une heure de la journée. Les voilà prévenus ! Qui donc sera anéanti sinon les gens pervers ? (Noor International)
अतः आप सब्र करें, जिस प्रकार पक्के इरादे वाले रसूलों ने सब्र किया और उनके लिए (यातना की) जल्दी न करें। जिस दिन वे उस चीज़ को देखेंगे जिसका उनसे वादा किया जाता है, तो (ऐसा होगा) मानो वे दिन की एक घड़ी[20] के सिवा नहीं रहे। यह (संदेश) पहुँचा देना है। फिर क्या अवज्ञाकारी लोगों के सिवा कोई और विनष्ट किया जाएगा? (Al-Umary)
你应当坚忍，如有决心的众使者那样坚忍，你不要要求他们所应得的刑罚早日实现。他们眼见自己所被恐吓的刑罚之日，他们将觉得仿佛在尘世只在白昼逗留过片刻。这是一个通告。惟悖逆的民众，才遭毁灭。 (Makin)
