سَيَقُولُ ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا ٱنطَلَقۡتُمۡ إِلَىٰ مَغَانِمَ لِتَأۡخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعۡكُمۡۖ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُبَدِّلُواْ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِۚ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَٰلِكُمۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ مِن قَبۡلُۖ فَسَيَقُولُونَ بَلۡ تَحۡسُدُونَنَاۚ بَلۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا
Those who lagged behind will say when you set out to collect the spoils of war, “Let us follow you.” They wish to change the word of Allah[5]. Say, “You will never follow us; this is what Allah has already decreed.” They will then say, “Rather, you are jealous of us[6].” Rather, they do not understand but a little[7]. (Rowwad Translation)
Quienes no te acompañaron (¡oh, Muhammad!, en dicha expedición) dirán (después a los creyentes): «Si partís para tomar el botín(de Jaibar[947] que Al-lah os ha prometido), dejad que vayamos con vosotros». Quieren cambiar el decreto de Al-lah (acerca de que el botín de Jaibar sería solo para quienes acompañaron al Profeta en Hudaibiyah). Diles: «No vendréis con nosotros; así lo ha decidido Al-lah». Entonces os dirán: «No, no nos dejáis ir por envidia (de que compartamos el botín)».No es como dicen, pero ellos apenas comprenden (los asuntos de la religión). (Noor International)
Lorsque vous partirez prendre possession du butin (de guerre), ceux qui étaient restés en arrière diront : « Laissez-nous venir avec vous » voulant ainsi changer la parole d’Allah. Dis-leur, alors : « Vous ne viendrez pas avec nous, car telle est la décision qu’Allah a déjà prise. » Ils diront alors : « C’est par jalousie à notre égard que vous agissez ainsi ! » En vérité, ils ne comprennent que bien peu. शीघ्र ही पीछे छोड़ दिए जाने वाले लोग कहेंगे, जब तुम कुछ ग़नीमतों को प्राप्त करने के लिए चलोगे : हमें छोड़ो कि हम तुम्हारे साथ चलें।[6] वे चाहते हैं कि अल्लाह के वचन को बदल दें। आप कह दें : तुम हमारे साथ कभी नहीं जाओगे, इसी तरह अल्लाह ने पहले ही कह दिया है। तो वे अवश्य कहेंगे : बल्कि तुम हमसे जलते हो। बल्कि वे बहुत कम समझते हैं। (Al-Umary)
留在后方的人们，当你们为获得战利品而出发的时候，他们将说：“让我们跟你们去吧！”他们欲变更安拉的判辞。你说：“你们绝对不得跟我们去，以前，安拉这样说过了。”他们将说：“不然，你们嫉妒我们。”不然他们不甚了解。 (Makin)
