قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوۡمٗا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدۡخُلَهَا حَتَّىٰ يَخۡرُجُواْ مِنۡهَا فَإِن يَخۡرُجُواْ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّا دَٰخِلُونَ
They said, “O Moses, there is an extremely mighty people in this land; we will never enter it until they leave it. Then if they leave, only then we will enter.” (Rowwad Translation)
Contestaron: «¡Moisés!, en ella viven unas gentes corpulentas y aguerridas, y nosotros no entraremos en ella hasta que ellos salgan. Si salen, entonces entraremos». (Noor International)
Ils dirent : « Ô Moïse ! Il s’y trouve un peuple puissant et nous n’y entrerons pas avant qu’eux-mêmes n’en sortent. S’ils en sortent, nous y entrerons. » (Noor International)
उन्होंने कहा : ऐ मूसा! उसमें बड़े बलवान लोग रहते हैं और निःसंदेह हम उसमें हरगिज़ प्रवेश न करेंगे, यहाँ तक कि वे उससे निकल जाएँ। यदि वे उससे निकल जाएँ, तो हम अवश्य प्रवेश करने वाले हैं। (Al-Umary)
他们说：“穆萨啊！圣地中，的确有一个强大的种族，我们绝不进去，直到他们出来。如果他们出来，我们必定进去。” (Makin)
