مِنۡ أَجۡلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبۡنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ أَنَّهُۥ مَن قَتَلَ نَفۡسَۢا بِغَيۡرِ نَفۡسٍ أَوۡ فَسَادٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعٗا وَمَنۡ أَحۡيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَآ أَحۡيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُنَا بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنۡهُم بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَمُسۡرِفُونَ
For this reason, We ordained for the Children of Israel that whoever kills a person – unless in retribution for murder or corruption in the land – it is as if he killed all mankind[28]; and whoever saves a life, it is as if he saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came to them with clear signs, yet many of them continued to exceed the limits[29] afterward in the land. (Rowwad Translation)
Por este motivo decretamos a los hijos de Israel que quien matara a una persona que no hubiera matado a nadie ni sembrado la corrupción en la tierra sería como si hubiese matado a toda la humanidad; y quien salvara una vida sería como si hubiese salvado a la humanidad entera. Y, ciertamente, recibieron la llegada de Nuestros mensajeros quienes les trajeron pruebas claras (de la verdad). No obstante, a pesar de ello, siguieron cometiendo delitos en la tierra. C’est pour cela que Nous avons prescrit aux Enfants d’Israël (la loi que voici) : Quiconque aura tué une personne sans que celle-ci n’ait commis un meurtre ou semé la corruption sur terre, c’est comme s’il avait tué l’humanité entière. Et quiconque l’aura fait revivre,[156] c’est comme s’il avait fait revivre l’humanité entière. Nos Messagers leur ont apporté les preuves évidentes, et pourtant beaucoup d’entre eux se laissent aller à leurs excès sur terre. (Noor International)
इसी कारण, हमने बनी इसराईल पर लिख दिया[25] कि निःसंदेह जिसने किसी प्राणी की किसी प्राणी के खून (के बदले) अथवा धरती में विद्रोह के बिना हत्या कर दी, तो मानो उसने सारे इनसानों की हत्या[26] कर दी, और जिसने उसे जीवन प्रदान किया, तो मानो उसने सारे इनसानों को जीवन प्रदान किया। तथा निःसंदेह उनके पास हमारे रसूल स्पष्ट प्रमाण लेकर आए। फिर निःसंदेह उनमें से बहुत से लोग उसके बाद भी धरती में निश्चय सीमा से आगे बढ़ने वाले हैं। (Al-Umary)
因此，我对以色列的后裔以此为定制：除因复仇或平乱外，凡妄杀一人的，如杀众人；凡救活一人的，如救活众人。我的众使者，确已昭示他们许多迹象。此后，他们中许多人，在地方上确是过分的。 (Makin)
