هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمۡ لِأَوَّلِ ٱلۡحَشۡرِۚ مَا ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن يَخۡرُجُواْۖ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمۡ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَمۡ يَحۡتَسِبُواْۖ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعۡبَۚ يُخۡرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَأَيۡدِي ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ فَٱعۡتَبِرُواْ يَٰٓأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ
It is He Who expelled the disbelievers of the People of the Book[1] from their homes as the first banishment[2]. You did not think that they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah. But [the punishment of] Allah came upon them from where they did not expect and He cast dread in their hearts, destroying their homes with their own hands[3] and the hands of the believers. So take a lesson, O you people of insight. (Rowwad Translation)
Él es Quien hizo que quienes rechazaban la verdad de entre los judíos saliesen de sus hogares en el primer destierro[1029]. Vosotros (creyentes) no creísteis que los abandonarían, y ellos pensaron que sus fortalezas los protegerían de Al-lah. Pero el castigo de Al-lah les llegó por donde no esperaban y Él arrojó el miedo a sus corazones. Destruyeron sus casas con sus propias manos y con las manos de los creyentes. ¡Reflexionad sobre ello, hombres de buen juicio! (Noor International)
C’est Lui Qui fit sortir de leurs foyers, pour le premier exil,[552] les mécréants parmi les gens du Livre. Vous ne pensiez pas qu’ils sortiraient (jamais) et eux s’imaginaient que leurs forteresses leur étaient une protection contre Allah. Mais Allah les surprit là où ils ne s’y attendaient point. Dans leurs cœurs, Il instilla tant de terreur qu’ils se mirent à démolir leurs maisons de leurs propres mains, aidés en cela par les croyants. Tirez-en donc la leçon, ô vous qui avez claire la vision ! (Noor International)
वही है, जिसने अह्ले किताब के काफिरों को पहले ही निष्कासन के समय उनके घरों से निकाल बाहर किया। तुम्हें गुमान न था कि वे निकल जाएँगे और वे समझ रहे थे कि उनके क़िले[1] उन्हें अल्लाह से बचाने वाले हैं। लेकिन अल्लाह (का अज़ाब) उनके पास वहाँ से आया, जिसका उन्हें गुमान भी न था और उसने उनके दिलों में भय डाल दिया। वे अपने घरों को खुद अपने हाथों से तथा ईमान वालों के हाथों[2] से उजाड़ रहे थे। अतः सीख ग्रहण करो, ऐ आँखों वालो! 在初次放逐的时候，他曾将信奉《圣经》而不信《古兰经》的人从他们的家中驱逐出境。你们没有猜想到他们会退出去，他们猜想自己的堡垒能防御安拉；但安拉的刑罚，竟从他们料不到的地方降临他们。他将恐怖投在他们的心中，他们用自己的手和信士们的手拆毁自己的房屋。有眼光的人们啊！你们警惕吧！ (Makin)
