وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَٰلَيۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
If you could only see when they will be made to stand before the Fire, they will say, “If only we were sent back, we would not reject the verses of our Lord, and we would be among the believers.” (Rowwad Translation)
¡Si pudieras verlos cuando se encuentren frente al fuego! Entonces dirán: «¡Ojalá pudiéramos regresar (a la vida terrenal)! No desmentiríamos las aleyas y las pruebas de Al-lah y seríamos de los creyentes». (Noor International)
Si tu les voyais quand, debout face au Feu, ils diront : « Ah ! Si seulement nous étions rendus (à la vie sur terre) ! Nous ne traiterions plus de mensonges les Signes de notre Seigneur et nous serions du nombre des croyants. » (Noor International)
तथा (ऐ नबी!) यदि आप उस समय देखें, जब वे आग पर खड़े किए जाएँगे, तो वे कहेंगे : ऐ काश! हम वापस भेजे जाएँ और अपने पालनहार की आयतों को न झुठलाएँ और हम ईमान वालों में से हो जाएँ। (Al-Umary)
当他们奉命站在火狱边上的时候，假若你看到他们的情状……。于是，他们说：“啊！但愿我们得复返人世，我们不再否认我们的主的迹象，而我们要做信士了。” (Makin)
