وَإِلَىٰ مَدۡيَنَ أَخَاهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبۡخَسُواْ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بَعۡدَ إِصۡلَٰحِهَاۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
And to the people of Midian [We sent] their brother Shu‘ayb. He said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. There has come to you a clear proof from your Lord. Give full measure and weight, and do not defraud people of their property[33], and do not spread corruption in the land after it has been set aright. That is best for you, if you are [truly] believers. (Rowwad Translation)
Y al pueblo de Madián[249] enviamos a su hermano Shu'aib. Este dijo: «¡Pueblo mío!, ¡adorad solo a Al-lah, no tenéis ninguna otra divinidad fuera de Él! En verdad os han llegado pruebas claras de vuestro Señor. Medid y pesad con equidad (cuando comerciéis); no deis a los hombres menos de lo que les corresponde y no corrompáis la tierra tras haber sido reformada. Eso es lo mejor para vosotros si de verdad sois creyentes. (Noor International)
Et (Nous avons envoyé) au peuple des Madyan leur frère Chou ̒ayb, qui leur dit : « Ô peuple mien ! Adorez Allah, car vous n’avez d’autre divinité que Lui. Une preuve évidente vous est venue de votre Seigneur. Respectez donc la mesure et le poids et ne restituez pas aux gens moins que ce qui leur est dû. Ne répandez pas la corruption sur terre après l’amélioration de son état. Ce sera meilleur pour vous, si vous êtes croyants. (Noor International)
तथा मद्यन[35] की ओर उनके भाई शुऐब को (भेजा)। उसने कहा : ऐ मेरी जाति के लोगो! अल्लाह की इबादत करो, उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई पूज्य नहीं। निःसंदेह तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे पालनहार की ओर से एक स्पष्ट प्रमाण आ चुका है। अतः पूरा-पूरा नाप और तौलकर दो और लोगों की चीज़ों में कमी न करो। तथा धरती में उसके सुधार के पश्चात बिगाड़ न फैलाओ। यही तुम्हारे लिए बेहतर है, यदि तुम ईमानवाले हो। (Al-Umary)
（我确已派遣）麦德彦人的弟兄舒阿卜去教化他们说：“我的宗族啊！你们要崇拜安拉，除他之外，绝无应受你们的崇拜的。从你们的主发出的明证，确已来临你们了，你们当使用充足的斗和秤，不要克扣别人所应得的货物。在改善地方之后，你们不要在地方上作恶，这对你们是更好的，如果你们是信道者。 (Makin)
