ثُمَّ بَدَّلۡنَا مَكَانَ ٱلسَّيِّئَةِ ٱلۡحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَواْ وَّقَالُواْ قَدۡ مَسَّ ءَابَآءَنَا ٱلضَّرَّآءُ وَٱلسَّرَّآءُ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
Then We changed their adversity into prosperity until they flourished and said, “Our forefathers were also afflicted with hardship and ease.” Then We seized them by surprise while they were unaware. (Rowwad Translation)
Después, cambiamos su mala situación por una mejor, hasta que su descendencia y sus bienes se vieron incrementados y dijeron (negando que su buena situación se debiera a Al-lah): «Nuestros padres también sufrieron adversidades y alcanzaron la prosperidad». Entonces hicimos que se abatiera sobre ellos Nuestro castigo de repente, sin que se diesen cuenta. (Noor International)
Puis Nous avons substitué le faste au néfaste, et lorsqu’ils eurent prospéré ils dirent : « Aussi bien le malheur que le bonheur ont touché nos pères. » Alors, Nous les emportâmes subitement sans qu’ils ne s’en aperçoivent. (Noor International)
फिर हमने उस खराब स्थिति को अच्छी स्थिति में बदल दिया, यहाँ तक कि वे (संख्या और धन में) बहुत बढ़ गए और उन्होंने कहा यह दुख और सुख हमारे बाप-दादा को भी पहुँचा था। तो हमने उन्हें अचानक इस हाल में पकड़ लिया कि वे सोचते न थे। (Al-Umary)
随后我转祸为福，直到他们富庶，并且说：“我们的祖先确已遭过患难，享过康乐了。”于是，当他们不知不觉时，我惩治他们。 (Makin)
