الآية السابقة
وَلَوۡ أَنَّ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ لَفَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَرَكَٰتٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبُواْ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ
If only the people of the towns had believed and feared Allah, We would have certainly opened for them blessings from the heaven and earth. But they disbelieved, so We seized them for what they earned. (Rowwad Translation)
Y si los habitantes de las ciudades que castigamos hubiesen creído y temido a Al-lah, les habríamos concedido las bendiciones del cielo y de la tierra; pero desmintieron (a Nuestros mensajeros) y los castigamos por lo que cometieron. (Noor International)
Si les habitants des cités avaient eu la foi et la piété, Nous aurions ouvert devant eux (les portes) de Nos bénédictions venues du ciel et de la terre. Mais ils ont démenti (la vérité) et Nous les avons emportés subitement pour ce qu’ils avaient commis. (Noor International)
और यदि इन बस्तियों के वासी ईमान ले आते और डरते, तो हम अवश्य ही उनपर आकाश और धरती की बरकतों के द्वार खोल देते, परन्तु उन्होंने झुठला दिया। अतः हमने उनकी करतूतों के कारण उन्हें पकड़ लिया। (Al-Umary)
假若各城市的居民，信道而且敬畏，我必为他们而开辟天地的福利，但是他们都否认了，故我因他们所作的罪恶而惩治了他们。 (Makin)
