۞ وَمَا كَانَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ لِيَنفِرُواْ كَآفَّةٗۚ فَلَوۡلَا نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرۡقَةٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ طَآئِفَةٞ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُواْ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُواْ قَوۡمَهُمۡ إِذَا رَجَعُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَحۡذَرُونَ
It is not right for the believers to march forth all at once; a group should go forth to acquire deeper knowledge of the religion, in order to admonish their people when they return to them, so that they may be cautious. (Rowwad Translation)
Y no es conveniente que todos los creyentes marchen a combatir. Sería más apropiado que un grupo de cada tribu saliera a luchar y que los demás se instruyeran en la religión (junto al Profeta) y exhortaran a su pueblo, de regreso a ellos, para que temieran (el castigo de Al-lah y obrasen en consecuencia obedeciendo Sus mandatos). Les croyants n’ont pas à accourir tous (pour aller combattre). Ne vaudrait-il pas mieux que, de chaque groupe (de guerriers), quelques-uns se consacrent à approfondir leurs connaissances en religion et avertir leur peuple à leur retour, afin que ce dernier soit vigilant ? (Noor International)
और संभव नहीं कि ईमान वाले सब के सब निकल पड़ें, तो उनके हर गिरोह में से कुछ लोग क्यों न निकले, ताकि वे धर्म में समझ हासिल करें और ताकि वे अपने लोगों को डराएँ, जब वे उनके पास वापस जाएँ, ताकि वे बच जाएँ।[56] (Al-Umary)
信士们不宜全体出征，他们为何不这样做呢？每族中有一部分人出征，以便留守者专攻教义，而在同族者还乡的时候，加以警告，以便他们警惕。 (Makin)
