الآية السابقة
۞ وَلَوۡ أَرَادُواْ ٱلۡخُرُوجَ لَأَعَدُّواْ لَهُۥ عُدَّةٗ وَلَٰكِن كَرِهَ ٱللَّهُ ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمۡ فَثَبَّطَهُمۡ وَقِيلَ ٱقۡعُدُواْ مَعَ ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
If they had truly intended to march forth, they would have made necessary preparations for it. But Allah disliked their going forth, so He made them lag behind, and they were told, “Stay behind with those who are staying behind[45].” (Rowwad Translation)
Si (los hipócritas) hubiesen querido realmente salir a combatir, habrían hecho preparativos para ello, pero Al-lah no quiso enviarlos con vosotros e hizo que les pudiera la pereza, y se dijeron (unos a otros): «Quedaos con quienes permanecen (en sus hogares por estar eximidos de luchar[312])». (Noor International)
S’ils avaient voulu sortir (combattre), ils s’y seraient déjà préparés. Mais il déplut à Allah qu’ils prennent ce départ. Alors, Il les rendit indolents et il leur fut dit : « Restez avec ceux qui restent ! » (Noor International)
यदि वे निकलने का इरादा रखते, तो उसके लिए कुछ सामान अवश्य तैयार करते। लेकिन अल्लाह ने उनके उठने को नापसंद किया, तो उसने उन्हें रोक दिया। तथा कह दिया गया कि बैठने वालों के साथ बैठे रहो। (Al-Umary)
假若他们有心出征，必定早已准备就绪了。但安拉不愿他们出征，故阻止他们。有人曾对他们说：“你们与老弱妇孺呆在家里吧！” (Makin)
