قُلۡ هَلۡ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ إِلَّآ إِحۡدَى ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ وَنَحۡنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمۡ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابٖ مِّنۡ عِندِهِۦٓ أَوۡ بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
Say, “Are you awaiting to befall us except one of the two fine things [i.e., victory or martyrdom][49]? But we are awaiting that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or at our hands. So wait; we too are waiting with you.” (Rowwad Translation)
Diles (a los hipócritas): «¿Acaso esperáis que nos suceda (algo malo, cuando no puede ocurrirnos) salvo una de las dos mejores cosas que hay (la victoria o el martirio)? Nosotros, no obstante, aguardamos a que Al-lah os envíe un castigo o a que caigáis derrotados bajo nuestras manos». Aguardad (a que os llegue vuestro castigo), nosotros también esperamos (que os llegue). (Noor International)
Dis : « Qu’attendez-vous qu’il nous arrive sinon l’une des deux meilleures (choses possibles)?[207] Nous, en revanche, attendons qu’Allah vous frappe d’un supplice venant de Sa part ou par nos mains. Attendez alors, nous attendrons avec vous ! » (Noor International)
आप कह दें : तुम हमारे बारे में दो भलाइयों[23] में से किसी एक के सिवा किसकी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हो और हम तुम्हारे बारे में यह प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं कि अल्लाह तुम्हें अपने पास से यातना दे, या हमारे हाथों से। तो तुम प्रतीक्षा करो, निःसंदेह हम (भी) तुम्हारे साथ प्रतीक्षा करने वाले हैं। (Al-Umary)
你说：“你们只期待着我们获得两大善果之一，我们却期待着安拉降天灾来折磨你们，或借我们的手惩治你们。你们期待着吧，我们确是与你们一道期待着的！” (Makin)
