فَرِحَ ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقۡعَدِهِمۡ خِلَٰفَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوٓاْ أَن يُجَٰهِدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَنفِرُواْ فِي ٱلۡحَرِّۗ قُلۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرّٗاۚ لَّوۡ كَانُواْ يَفۡقَهُونَ
Those who remained behind rejoiced for doing so in defiance of the Messenger of Allah, and disliked to strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives[66], and said, “Do not march forth in this heat[67].” Say, “The Fire of Hell is more intense in heat.” – If only they could understand! (Rowwad Translation)
Quienes se quedaron en sus casas se alegraron de no salir con el Mensajero de Al-lah (a combatir en Tabuk), pues les desagradó la idea de luchar con sus bienes y con sus vidas por la causa de Al-lah. Dijeron (a los demás): «No marchéis a luchar con este calor». Diles (¡oh, Muhammad!): «El calor del infierno es mucho más intenso». ¡Si lo hubiesen comprendido! (Noor International)
Ceux qui sont demeurés à l’arrière se réjouissaient d’être restés chez eux, bien derrière le Messager. Ils avaient en horreur de combattre par leurs biens et par leurs âmes pour la cause d’Allah, et dirent : « Gardez-vous d’aller au combat par cette chaleur ! » Dis : « Le Feu de la Géhenne est plus chaud encore. » Si seulement ils pouvaient comprendre ! (Noor International)
वे लोग जो पीछे छोड़ दिए[40] गए, अल्लाह के रसूल के पीछे अपने बैठ रहने पर खुश हो गए और उन्होंने नापसंद किया कि अपने धनों और अपने प्राणों के साथ अल्लाह के मार्ग में जिहाद करें और उन्होंने (अन्य लोगों से) कहा कि गर्मी में मत निकलो। आप कह दें : जहन्नम की आग कहीं अधिक गर्म है। काश! वे समझते होते। (Al-Umary)
使者出征后，在后方的人因能安坐家中而高兴。他们不愿以自己的财产和生命为主道而奋斗。他们互相嘱咐说：“你们不要在热天出征。”你说：“火狱的火是更炽热的，假若他们是明理的。” (Makin)
